HOUSTON (KIAH)— The storms that hit the southeast Texas area on Thursday have left several homes without power.
As of 11 a.m. Friday, CenterPoint Energy’s outage tracker reports over 700,000 homes are without power, including over 480,000 homes in the Houston area.
CenterPoint also reports that over 92,000 homes have had their power restored over the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Entergy’s outage tracker reports that as of 11 a.m. Friday, around 1,700 homes in Montgomery County are without power, while over 1,400 homes in Liberty County are without power and over 2,300 homes in San Jacinto County.
CenterPoint Energy asks those in the area to report any low-hanging or downed power lines by calling 713-207-2222.
