The 49 best Marriott hotels in phu*ket (2024)

The Andamantra eco-resort offers stunning bay views and luxurious accommodations, including suites with outdoor bathtubs that offer stunning ocean views. The resort's myriad of restaurants and pools add to the pleasurable experience, while its spa and gym offer added benefits.

Great stay. The staff was super nice. Always remembered the room number before we even had to tell them when picking up towels or writing food/drink onto the room. Room service always did their best to hand fresh towels or water right away. Amazing view from the upper pool as it overlooks the sea and can be a great spot for thunder and lightning. Very good Thai food in their restaurant. 7/11 is right outside the hotel premises, which is handy for sun screen, snacks and other essentials. Location is a bit tricky if you are on foot as it is right on a bend and it is known that phu*ket traffic is crazy 😅 enjoyed our stay very much!

Amazing place with stunning views. We got the honeymoon suites quite cheap, and wow were they worth it. Four poster beds with net curtains. An outdoor bath on the balcony with sea views. Not sure why you'd need a sauna in the shower room, just sit outside! The room is clean and not a bad size. They could put some bubble soap for the bath outside, but it was amazing having a bath at night with the stars, moon and the waves crashing in.Breakfast is included and it's a really nice buffet with lots of choice. We were quite annoyed with the service in the evening for drinks. The staff member was quite rude, we complained, and they took off the service charge. I wouldn't recommend eating there for dinner as there'll be loads of proper Thai food elsewhere that will be delicious and cheaper, but that's speaking as a Thai. The rooms are right at the top, so you can wait for a shuttle service to take you up and down, you can walk too but the service is quite frequent. The location is great, right by the beach and not too far from the old town and other places of interest.Highly recommend it there.

The property rooms are way older than they look and not so well maintained. The service from housekeeping as well as the baggage service is very poor which you will need as the property is on the hill slope and walking by yourself is difficult. The food quality at the restaurant is also average. Only good thing is the location, amazing pools in the property. Even the Washrooms are not very clean and noise from maintenance is very often. Do not expect anyone to pick up the phone when calling housekeeping or front desk. They accept that they don't as too many calls come!!?FYI, sharing photos of the bed just after checking in. As good as it gets.

Please avoid stay if they give room in FREE also .I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay here, and I must say it was an absolute disaster. While the hotel boasted about its good view and pool, these were merely facades that hid the underlying truth of their abysmal service, filthy rooms, and woeful infrastructure. Let's start with the rooms themselves. Upon entering, I was greeted by a pungent stench that permeated the air. The room was in dire need of a thorough cleaning, with dust and grime coating every surface. It was evident that housekeeping had neglected their duties for quite some time. It was clear that the management had little regard for cleanliness and guest comfort. Adding to the frustration was the location of the rooms. To reach them, one had to endure an inconvenient journey of 800 meters to 1 km from the reception. This meant relying on the hotel's promised buggy service, which, disappointingly, was never on time.Very very bad experience.

It's a long review but worth considering before booking. The experience was absolutely TERRIBLE❌❌ we cancelled the rest of our stay immediately and checked out the next morning.- They only have 2 shuttles to pick you up from reception to your villa. In the evening we waited outside for 23 minutes for a shuttle so we called to remind them, they asked us to wait 5 more minutes because only 1 shuttle was working and hung up the phone.- Our villa was number 5 (8705) and to reach it we had to go up and down 83 steep steps!! we have to use it every time we want to go out. Not suitable for special needs, children and elderly people❌- No safety❌ the lock of the pool door was broken. Electric plugs were on the floor.- Cleanliness was bad.- The bell boy carrying our luggage broke one of the bags' wheel.- The kettle was broken we asked for a new one they replaced it with another broken one.I don't recommend anyone to go there. With all that being said, we're compelled to thank the manager, Kes (they call her Sarah) for being so professional and cooperative throughout the whole situation🙏🏻

It is rated as 4 star hotel, I would rate it 2.5 star, hotel has passed its prime. A lot of things are neglected in the hotel maintenance. The rooms are dated. The front desk staff could use more training and more enthusiasm in helping customers. The cleaning staff is friendly. The view from the room is great. Included breakfast is decent. If improvements are done, hotel can be 4 star again.

Absolutely Horrifying!I would have rated this place less than a star but the option is not available and I would never rate a property less for minor glitches. It's going to be long review. We had booked our trip with Andamantra for four nights and it was all paid, upon arriving at the property we were asked to wait like others for check-in, everyone seemed distraught due to the delayed check-ins and some of the families also had kids who arrived directly from the airport, the number of reception staff catering to the crowds of people is inadequate resulting into delays and they don't offer any welcome drinks or even water. All you try to do is keep on following up for the room and they keep on responding that the house keeping is working on it. We were made to wait for four hours only to be told that the room had some maintainece issues with the bathroom and also if we would like to see the room in order to further wait for the issue to be fixed, upon viewing the room the condition of it wasn't good, the ocean view was blocked by the bamboos as this property is under construction. All this while we were only made to wait in the warm hotel lobby with no water. The resort is huge and some of the lucky people do get rooms but I will never suggest this property to anyone I know. They didn't offer any apologies or cared for our time, after being denied the check-in after four hours we ended up booking a different property with an ongoing and uncertain request on the refund. They didn't care to provide any arrangement for the lounge room/ waiting area or taxi to the other property and also weren't the most polite despite of being at fault. All the Google reviews mentioning the problems are 💯 true. If you'd like to have an easy vacation with no obvious issues with your stay, please stay away from booking this resort.By far this has been the most disappointing hotel experience for me in the world, and the most Horrifying international experience of being stranded without a place even after booking well in advance.

I was in this hotel for a week on march 2024 and i really enjoyed it.At first we arrived and despite it looked like they could give us our room 3 hours before 14 they didn't and told us to wait which was kinda let down after 8 hours flight but i understand because they were playing by the rules right?Weather was very hot and they really need to add some ac in the lobby but rooms were just fine.Breakfast was fine but not great. I had better experience in turkey hotels which was the same level as this hotel. Everything else was just fine and normal. The staff were nice. The pools were clean. The thing in my opinion that made this hotel very special is the atmosphere. It’s kinda inside nature building and rooms. You will not get bored or frustrated in this type of hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed. The room was nothing like the pictures online. Here are the main problems I encountered:1. The room had a strong smell of paint, which was unbearable, especially since I have asthma.2. There was paint everywhere, making the room and bathroom look messy and unfinished.3. There was no mirror in the bathroom, despite the online pictures showing a complete bathroom with a mirror.I booked a Grand Deluxe room and paid extra, expecting a higher standard. Instead, I was met with these unacceptable conditions.Additionally, the staff were very rude, particularly LUCK, the manager, and POLY. Their unprofessional behavior only worsened my experience. The misleading advertising and poor room condition severely impacted my stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and find a place that is honest about its amenities and provides a clean, comfortable environment with respectful staff.

Fabulous exterior structure overlooking the beautiful phu*ket beach and ocean. Stunning view at breakfast restaurant at top level next to the pool.Friendly staff, generally helpful.Room is spaciousHowever old furniture, chipping off here and there… limited power sockets, far from bed.Need internal shuttle bus to move between lobby and room. Certain floor no lifts, pull your luggage Over the stairs!Hard bed. 2 pillows and 1 bath towel for couple guests.Cheaper hotels nearby has comfy bed, 4 pillows and 2 sets of towels…this hotel is amazing yet disappointing in many ways

We booked the Deluxe Ocean View Room for four nights. Generally, the experience was pass-able for the price, but some incidents to share for those making a decision.1. Although when booking it seems you can request for an airport transfer, when we called the hotel, we were told to get our own when we arrive at the airport.2. Our ocean view room was partially obscured by a building in front of us. We could still see the ocean but the noise from the air-conditioning units also marred the experience.3. Generally the room was maintained clean, though the furnishings were old. However, one of the evenings, I found a clump of hair in a fresh towel. One morning, we woke up to find out that there was no water because of a choke in a pipe somewhere. Thankfully the water came back when we returned in the evening.Other than the above, the staff are polite. There are three small pools for common use, one of which has a good view of the sea. There is a decent slide in another pool as well.

I received very bad service during the check in process from the front desk. The lady who took my passport did not do any registration for me and keep ask me to wait. I waited for 2 hours to get my room key and also have to make noise at the counter only manage to get. The front desk lady is rude when questioning her and she will ignore and show you unwelcome faces. The hotel location is not very convenience. Every time get out from the room you need to call shuttle van and it could be quite a wait. The only good thing is the sea view from room is stunning and the room rate is cheap. However the hotel maintenance is old and rundown. I would not recommend this hotel and there are plenty of hotels are better than this especially on the service level which is not up to standard as a 4 stars hotel. The service you received will definitely ruin your travel mood.

Amazing place where this hotel is located.. The Beach view and the lovely breeze.. Walking and using stairs is also healthy because you enjoy every part of the hotel' stories..The SPA buffet was an amazing experience.. Kids have enjoyed the two different swimming pools. The only observation I had is regarding the cleaning which needs to be improved.

DISGUSTING. AVOID UNDER ANY CIRc*msTANCES!!!Where do i even begin? Staff is totally overwhelmed/unfit. We was told to wait for check-in at 2pm and had to wait until 3:30pm. Then we were brought to our rooms when we realised that the whole hotel complex is sole construction site. The complex our room was in looked like a ghetto from the outside and was not better from the inside.Dirty sheets, mold everywhere, an unbearable stench coming from the AC, dirty bathroom and toilets etc. etc. Please avoid. Otherwise these people will not improve and this will become standard.

Room furnitures very very old.Toilet also can not make it, flushing system is lousy. There is only one charging point in the room.Breakfast location needs to walk about 2 floors down. There is an escalator but is not operating 🤦‍♀️From lobby to the room, or room to the lobby......needs to call the operator to get a pick up to go down or go up....very inconvenient.Hotel staffs overall are friendly.

The only good thing abt this resort is the location. Apart from that everything was average. The rooms were spacious but bit old. The bathroom fixers were not proper. The room telephone was not working making it difficult for us to connect for room services. The housekeeping staff person came at 6 in the evening for cleaning. The swimming pool was not kids friendly. In short..we didnt have the best of the time spent in this resort.

Nalini S — Google review

Stunning sea view from our room. Even though the place was a bit old but everything worked fine. Nice and friendly staffs. The pool and their restaurant also has gorgeous view. Breakfast was also great as it offer large variety of foods and they were all well prepared. The only thing I’d complain is that when we were checking in with the reception it took quite a long time before they can find the room for us despite having the room booked in advance.

I do not recommend this hotel! From the first day I arrived, I did not receive the room I paid for. We had to wait an hour for them to give us a room so we could sleep and the next day they moved us to another room. In the second room, the air conditioning did not work, again there were problems. They barely answered the reception to come and fix the climate, after 3 hours of waiting for an answer they decided to move us to another room. In the third room, when we went to the sea, the door wouldn't close, it was stuck, we barely managed to close it. The people at the reception hardly answer the phone, they accommodate you quite high and the boy with the car doesn't come on time. When we left, they made us pay for water that we didn't use, which seems insensitive to me. Another problem is that the windows don't close well, it's a perfect place for various insects and lizards to enter! In conclusion, I do not recommend this hotel!!!

My recent stay at Andamantra Resort was overall quite enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, although they could benefit from some minor touch-ups. However, the highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the delicious breakfast served at the resort. The variety and quality of food provided were exceptional. The resort itself is sprawling and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The infinity pool was particularly impressive, providing a picturesque spot to relax and soak in the beauty of the ocean. One minor inconvenience was the need to use the hotel vehicle to access the rooms, but this did not detract significantly from the overall experience. In conclusion, Andamantra Resort is an amazing destination with breathtaking ocean views, delicious food, and good staff service. Despite a few minor issues, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the area.

First of all, I don't know the why the deposit is so expensive! My friends and I need to put 2000baht deposit for the room we stayed and it already cut half our budget trip! The staffs were nice but the services offered is not. The room was so old, it is a renovated old room one, old design, the laminated room floor was not secured enough (some are detached and produce sound already). Need to call buggy to move as the hotel is on the hill. The buggy service got worse day by day, delayed so many times. Overall experience is so so thank god the area is closed to halal food places

In general it was a nice stay here. Quiet location which i like but still close enough to city life. Room was a little old but big and nice view. Mostly car shuttle is needed to get to the room coz hotel is located on a steep terrain. Having motorbike rented is best way to move just beware of phu*ket police. They are everywhere and clearly the target are foreigners. I got stopped every day. If Thai driver they don't even blink but if i drove they stop me 100%.

The room is good, however the furniture in the room is too old and they still use OLD TV which you can't connect your phone with Smart TV. The room breakfast is really good and we enjoy it. Any room that in higher floor required to walk as they do not have lift for each building they have. Room service is really good. Parking is bit hard as the hotel has very limited space for a car. They use pickup to take you to hotel room as the rooms are in the hill side and you it is available every 5 to 10 min. When check out it took longer than expected as we have no one come to help for the luggage to move from 3rd floor to 1st floor and take them to next to the driver lane. I did all by my self as I couldn't wait for long due to flight schedule.

Mark K — Google review

Disappointing experience. First of all, the pictures on the sites are misleading they show as if the property is next to the beach but it is not. It is on a hill next to the beach (which explains why the ocean is visible) but its difficult to reach the beach from the hotel, its about a 20 mins rigorous walk to reach the beach given the fact that its on a hill. Talking of hill, it’s a pain to get from the lobby to your room as it’s a steep incline and you have to depend on their shuttle service which is a bit of wait most of the times, especially in peak movement hours. The rooms themselves are dated, old and not maintained in perfect conditions for the type of hotel it advertises itself. Breakfast has limited selections and long waiting times during peak hours at the live counters (ex: egg omelet). Staff is slow, indifferent and even rude at times. The check in process was painfully slow, the person at checkout at 5:30 am in the morning seemed like a housekeeping person with no idea of what he is doing. The last day we had an early morning flight and requested to just eat some bread etc. at 6 am but staff refused saying it opens at 6:30 am where as all we wanted was some bread/croissant etc. Also while I was charged for 2 adults 1 child no additional bed or arrangement was done for the kid. Housekeeping and Room service was never reachable on the phone and its not a property where you can just walk up to the front desk too. Among 3 hotels I booked for my Thailand trip only this one did not meet expectations. Would not recommend this to anyone, there are much better resorts at the same price much closer to the beach.

So I’m sharing my experience to help the fellow guests. I was skeptical too to come here after reading the reviews but to my surprise our check in was smooth. The rooms were very clean and in fact the facilities were better than at Novotel that I stayed previously.Moving to breakfast, today I had a satisfying breakfast after being in Thailand for 5 days. The food was fresh. So overall my experience has been good so far.

My stay at Andamantra Resort was a comfortable 3-star experience. While it wasn't outstanding, it certainly wasn't bad. The resort offered decent amenities and services, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although there might be areas for improvement, the overall stay was enjoyable and satisfactory. If you're looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay, Andamantra Resort is a good choice.

Rooms are okay, but sell really well in photos compared to reality, to be fair very clean though.Service was the issue for us, we tried to use spa, but not only was there no one ever there, even reception couldn't find them. Every time we came to reception, didn't feel like they wanted to help us, check in, ask questions etc. Power went so ordered a coffee, never came. Little things, seemed disorganised. The room view was great, bathtub was great too.

A Disastrous ExperienceI recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay here, and I must say it was an absolute disaster. This meant relying on the hotel's promised buggy service, which, disappointingly, was never on time. Waiting for the buggy became a recurring nightmare as it never seemed to arrive when needed. The steep slopes surrounding the hotel made it impossible to walk, further exacerbating the inconvenience. The hotel's infrastructure was clearly ill-equipped to handle the needs of its guests. Moreover the escalators to take you to the room were turned off most of the time, which is okay when going down, but meant climbing at least 45-50 steps to reach the buggy service point. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of my stay was the deplorable level of service provided by the hotel staff. The front desk was unhelpful and disinterested in addressing any concerns or complaints. It seemed as though they lacked the basic understanding of customer service and were indifferent to the guests' experiences. The staff's apathy and lack of professionalism left a lasting negative impression. In conclusion, choosing to stay here was a colossal mistake that marred my vacation. The hotel's attractive view and pool were mere illusions that hid the reality of their subpar service, unclean rooms, and inadequate infrastructure. The inconvenient distance between the reception and rooms, coupled with the unreliable buggy service, only added to the frustration. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this hotel if you value a pleasant and enjoyable vacation experience.

The place of the hotel is nearby to the beach ( you need to walk for some time), the swimming pool was nice along with the restaurant. The buildings were looking old, few plugs to connect the chargers. The staff were friendly. The price was acceptable.

Reception took more than an hour to check me in, and the staff members were very egotistical. When I asked if an ocean view and king-size bed were provided, the response was delivered with arrogance, stating, “You got what you booked.” There was no need for such a response; I was simply asking a question. Additionally, the manager took over an hour for check-in, and when I inquired about the delay, I was met with a dismissive response, stating that they couldn’t expedite the process and that I should wait. This is not an appropriate way to communicate with customers. Furthermore, I was asked to produce the credit card used for booking, nowhere mentioned in booking details about to produce credit card, but for security reasons, I had left it in a safety bag. Despite explaining this, the demand persisted, adding unnecessary frustration to the already lengthy check-in process. The towels provided were dirty and old, and the TV remote was non-functional. Despite notifying the front desk multiple times, the issue was not resolved promptly. Each time I called, I was given a different number to contact, resulting in further delays and frustration. Even after supposedly fixing the remote, it remained dysfunctional, and when I raised the issue again the next morning, I was met with argumentative responses. Finally they have not provided the tv service for 3 days. The overall experience was incredibly disappointing and has significantly impacted my trip. I would advise others to avoid this hotel and explore alternative accommodations.

This hotel charges huge bucks and provides no service. They fraudulently accept international bookings and then frustrate the customer by not making rooms available or make them wait for hours with discomfort. The vibrant tourism industry is gonna suffer loads with this big black blot of a hotel leaving customers with the worst experience.Highly not recommended! If u wanna book here, it’s better you stay on roads!

During my stay at Andamantra, I found several aspects worth noting. The layout of the hotel is somewhat inconvenient, requiring lot of walking to reach the reception and then to the rooms. Some rooms are oddly located, requiring a route that involves going up and then down to reach them. There is a dependency on the hotel's battery cars for internal movements, which can be cumbersome. On the positive side, the hotel's location is excellent. It is close to the beach, an Indian restaurant, and several 7/11 stores, making it convenient for dining and quick shopping needs. The swimming pools are a highlight, offering amazing views, particularly if you can get a sea-facing poolside room. However, be aware that there is a lot of maintenance work going on, which might affect your experience.Overall, while the hotel offers great views and a convenient location, the layout and ongoing maintenance can be a bit of a drawback.

WARNING this hotel should in no way be considered 4 star. It's 3 star at best which is still a good value, but be prepared. Note the hotel name was changed from Centara Blue Marine Resort & Spa phu*ket. The property is dated and the recent refurbishment is poorly done The rooms have cheaply painted furniture. The fixtures are old. Many of the lights on the property grounds have burnt out bulbs. The food in the main restaurant is awful. The employees are well intended but there are not enough of them. Room cleaning was missed and/or delayed till after 5pm a few times. The property is on a hillside so in order to get to your room you either have to climb a whole lot of sets of randomly placed stairs, all different. Or you have to wait for a shuttle to take you to your room. There are not enough shuttles particularly in the morning and the lateafternoon so you may have to wait a long time. It can take up to 30 minutes to get in or out. That is extremely frustrating. If you book, make sure your room is Ocean view as the view is great, just wish the property was as also great.

We came all the way from South Africa it was our first visit to Thailand. We were all excited for the trip. After a long flight we finally, we arrive at Andamatra Resort. Our check in took longer and we were kept waiting for a while. Finally after check in we got to our room. Which we got a shock upon arrival. First thing a person would want to do after a long flight is to freshen up by taking a shower, was disappointed because the shower was broken, the lid from the bath tub was complicated to open after taking a bath, the bed was not comfortable as it looked like a sinking boat. Went back to the receptionist to complain, a gentleman was helpful and moved us to a new room. The new room that was allocated to us had a dirty toilet, they never cleaned our room through out our visitation. We had to constantly call in for our towels and bedding to be changed. On check out day they made us pay for a drink we didn’t even drink, yet they failed to even give us complementary service for1. Delayed check in upon arrival2. The first room which had a broken shower, uncomfortable bed, bath tub tap3. Our room was never cleaned, we called in everyday for new towels to be sent to our room4. Woman staff not friendly at all, men are better. The manage (she)was less interested when told about an extra drink that’s charged on our bill.

Don’t even think about staying at this property. Worst experience ever. I generally don’t tend to avoid giving reviews. But you definitely need to know if you are looking for a stay in phu*ket.1) The service is extremely slow. Worst hotel management. The staff (room service / house keeping) does not speak english and you need to use translator to explain your issue. Reception don’t pick up your calls once they know you are having some issue. But yes your complaints will be acknowledged and they will need a lot time to fix even small things.I didn’t have hot water in my room and to get the issue resolved. I had to visit reception and it took them 2 hours to fix it. Management was not ready to change the room. Not cooperative at all.2) Rooms are big but old construction. Washroom has water-clogging issue.3) Shuttles don’t come on time. You will have to wait a lot.4) Plus they take deposit of 2k THB. Which is nowhere mentioned while booking.5) Frequent power outages are common.6) LASTLY NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

Hello this is Jain_07.Usually I tend to give a moderate rating at the minimum, but this time I will be making an exception. If there was an option of giving stars in negative, I would have personally given this property in negative and trust me, it definitely deserves the review. Having travelled half the world, I have never seen such worst services and management in any hotel worldwide. Keeping aside the view, I highly recommend everyone not to opt for this hotel.A few very basic problems that me and my family had to suffer were like1.) The rooms are not properly maintained and in every room there is some or other issue whether of leakage or Air Conditioner not working or of extra bedding orany other. And the worst part is even after complaining to the management or at the reception "multiple" times in a day, they neither respond nor resolve the issue. All you'll be getting is 'we will get back to you'.2.) If you are travelling with a child, my greatest advice will be to skip this property. The food isn't that great and moreover if you even ask for a piece of bread or just a water bottle for the child, the whole staff will come down on you to stop you, with the management being at its back.3.) The management staff is not at all responsive and highly rude to Indian guests in particular.4.) Until you remind the staff multiple times to clean your room, be assure that even after you are out for the whole day, you will still need to remind the staff for the room cleaning.5.) You will need to keep extra cash for your stay at this property as not just the minibar, but even if you ask for an extra napkin, or towel or a bag, you'll be charged for it.Overall, i wouldn't recommend this property to anyone, personally.

Worst resort I had stayed. No service, villa totally unacceptable, main door of villa unable to lock, hairs lying , cushion with white dust on sofa upon check in. Air-con in 1 of the room unserviceable, no technician came. Called nothing much was done by front desk or housekeeping. Requested for manager in charge no where to be seen.Day 2 Personally went to front desk to request for to speak to Manager. Villa was too unpleasant to stay in to enjoy we actually booked 10hrs transport to spend our day out of the villa. After the long day out, though door looked fix but was not. In short, resort not recommend.

I hope this finds you well. We had quite a disappointing experience that we felt compelled to share with you.Firstly, the service at the lobby front desk was very poor. The staff were incredibly rude and even went as far as to lay the blame on customer without any evidence to support their claims. When we requested to review the CCTV footage to clarify the situation, they outright denied my request. Additionally, the staff's demeanor was consistently uncomfortable, making eye contact with a frown, which made the overall experience even more unpleasant. The only individuals who seemed to maintain a pleasant attitude were a few housekeepers and the pick-up personnel. Moreover, the condition of the room left much to be desired. While the bed was adequate, we was disappointed to find that the toilet door was broken and unable to close properly, which significantly impacted our vacation day.Lastly, as we know, as prestigious hotel an iron is available in every room but unfortunately we have to request and wait about 24 hour to arrive.we understand that every establishment can have its challenges, but I believe it's essential to address these issues to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of your guests. We hope that by sharing our experience, you can take the necessary steps to improve the service and facilities.Thank you.

The hotel looks good apparently but the structure is designed in such a way that you get tired even while reaching your room. There is no lift for many rooms. One has to take long staircase. The rooms are located on different heights so either you walk to your room and get exhausted or you wait for a long for their car service and get tired. They have only 3 cars and they remain busy. You have to climb for resturant and swimming pool too. If you are going to just stay in your room all time, only than you can book this hotel. Otherwise not advisable.

I struggle to find the words to convey my disappointment with this "resort" effectively. The service is appalling. I was made to wait for nearly 2 hours after my original check-in time to receive my room. Throughout this time the staff had a dismissive and truly unwelcoming attitude. Once I eventually arrived at my room, it was run down and dilapidated. The paint on the walls were peeling, the cupboard doors had swollen to the point that they could not close and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Later that day I went down to the restaurant and ordered wings that were so hard and rubbery that it would be a stretch to call it chicken. The only saving graces are the views (which is truly breath-taking) and the spa (which is accessible at an extra cost). Please save your money and time, by avoiding this scam by all costs.

A Love-Hate Relationship with AndamantraI stayed at Andamantra for three nights, and my feelings are all over the place. This hotel offers some fantastic perks but also some serious drawbacks.Pros:1. Beautiful View: The room’s view was stunning, making every morning special.2. Delicious Breakfast: The food was great, and the view during breakfast was gorgeous.3. Spacious Rooms: Lots of space to relax.4. Comfortable Bed: Very comfy for a good night's sleep.5. Budget-Friendly: Affordable rates.Cons:1. Tough Climb: Getting to the room was a steep climb, requiring a buggy ride.2. Cleanliness Issues: co*ckroaches on the balcony.3. Lack of Amenities: Basic items like an iron and towels weren’t provided.4. Leaky AC: The air conditioner leaked.5. Mandatory Cleaning: Daily room cleaning whether you want it or not.For every great feature, like the amazing views and delicious breakfast, there was an annoying downside, like co*ckroaches or a leaky AC. Andamantra left me torn between love and hate, with highs and lows that balanced each other out.

First we had to wait 1 hour to get access to the room even though it was past check in time (3 pm). The reception was very chaotic and there were a lot of people upset en screaming. When we finally arrived at the room we saw that the room is disgusting. Everything has stains and things are broken. There was hair in the bathtub. The room was nothing like the pictures. Even outside the room the hotel was very old and nasty. When we discussed this with the manager they had this big attitude but finally wanted to change our room. When we checked the new room it was even worse. I added some pictures as proof. Then they showed us a third room, but when they opened the door there was a guest sleeping and they did not know. We were very upset at this point and did nog feel comfortable to stay in the hotel. We tried to get to a solution with the manager, but they didn’t want to help us. Eventually after discussing for 3 hours and having multiple phone calls with booking the manager agreed to give us a refund, but it would take time. We left to another hotel and after a couple of days booking let us know that the hotel didn’t agree with a refund and there is nothing booking could do for us. This was very frustrating to hear both from the hotel and booking. PLEASE LOOK OUT WHAT HOTEL YOU BOOK AND NOW THAT BOOKING WON’T HELP YOU WITH THESE KIND OF PROBLEMS.

Rooms here are decent, but they are located on the high side of the hill (this resort is located on a hill slope). The lobby is on the low side of the hill, as well as the car / motorbike parking. So, to get to your room, you either wait for their own internal shuttle truck to drive you up to your room, or you can walk up. But, walking up to your room from the lobby is like climbing more than 5 floors of stairs.Other than that, the facilities are good and also their free breakfast is quite delicious (but no pork is served).

I recently stayed at Antamantra phu*ket and had a deeply disappointing experience. Upon entering our room, it was immediately apparent that cleanliness was not a priority. The room was filthy, with dust and grime visible on surfaces. The mattress was in an equally deplorable state, stained and unhygienic, making it impossible to feel comfortable. To make matters worse, the air conditioning system malfunctioned. Despite the oppressive heat, I had to call reception and wait an excruciatingly long time for a technician to arrive. This happened in the middle of the night, causing my 4-month-old infant to cry incessantly due to the discomfort, which was incredibly distressing.Additionally, I was shocked to find that basic amenities, such as a dental kit, were not complimentary. Instead, I was charged 75 Thai Baht, which felt unreasonable given the already substandard conditions.Overall, my stay at Andamantra was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not recommended!!The staffs were rude. their English communication skill is very bad. they do not understand basic things, the hotel policy is also very bad, it's kind of inhuman. if you check out after 12 they charge extra 2000 baht. even after I paid the full payment in advance, they asked for 2000 baht as deposit, I didn't exchange the Dollar by that time, the forced me to exchange the dollar in much lower rate, when I denied, they said if I do not give the deposit, they won't allow me to go to the room, even knowing that my 3-year-old years kid and my wife was feeling very tired as they were traveling from the morning, we reached at the hotel at 11:00 p.m. at last they forced me to keep a passport with them until I give them 2,000 deposit money. I think this is not even legal. Their amenities were not even working properly, we had to flash 4 to 5 times toilet after using everytime. we stayed there 4 days, and they cleaned the room just one day after requesting two to three times. this hotel is totally unrecommended.

The property is only good for the view(selected ocean view rooms only). The staff is rude and service is poor. The rooms are on steep slope so you can't really walk around and the shuttle service is very slow. Also the shuttle is only for going from reception to rooms, they wont even drop/pick you till/from the main exit. Our building did not have lift so the staff asked us to assist them with lifting luggage to the 2nd floor. While checkout also they ask you to lift luggage (even after seeing that i was carrying my kid in hand). There are a lot more properties nearby with same view and ambience, so i would not suggest anyone to select this one specifically because of the service.

Worst check in experience ever. They let me check in at 16:30. I arrived and 9:30 AM! Also, they let other guests check in before me. Needs an overhaul of Housekeeping but most importantly Front Desk. They are running around like headless chickens not knowing what to do next. Not organized. I have 10+ years of experience in hotels and finally i totally agree with comments about this one. Do not even think about it until they do a major overhaul in their operations.

Andamantra is a nice hotel in a beautiful location. Ambience and others stuff are amazing. But service is very poor. Hotel staffs should be more trained and humble towards guest. If you ask for something calling front desk, it will literally take a day to receive that. My wife tried to took a video of the lobby area, the guest service manager misbehaved with my wife about that issue.

They don't offer what they charge. Their rooms, even the higher priced ones don't have basic amenities like the AC, for which we had to make at least 5-10 visits to the lobby. Their overall service is very, very, very poor. Please just avoid staying at Andamantra. There are many many more stays available near it, at better prices and location. Save yourself, don't book a room here. Never have I been so exhausted with a hotel.
